The Last Post of English 4...

This will be my last post and I have to talk about my experience in the development of the 9 previous posts.

I personally feel that the idea of ​​this work was good, in the sense that brings us the English in a different way than I have seen usually, as more relaxed and social, since you can share ideas, starting a dialogue between people and get closer and to know more about the language and the person

One of the few points against this system, to my thinking, at the end is the do it constantly finished getting tired me, it consume like a long time, in the sense that so that you have well written posts is to write good forms the sentences and for that you need really knowing the grammar and vocabulary, for that the activity can be developed in the best way possible, but the fact of them very often ends up tired and bored a little, in the sense that one sometimes comes tired or stressed by topics college and to finish writing ends as soon that the post is misspelled, or just writing all sentences in spanish in a translator, being that this is not like the ideal (not gonna lie in the sense that if I did sometimes :P)

But overall I think that this way to learn English is striking and can be applied not only to universities, but also in schools in primary and high school, as a good practice form speech of English, through topics and topics that one pleases, for example writing about food I like, I saw the movie the other day, my dreams, among other things

Because speak English and handle it you opens the doors to many things, because it is the universal language as it were, so teach English in the educational institutions (university, college, technical) is very important because it is a valuable tool for the future

Simulations

Hi Everybody!!
In this week I want to talk to you about my favorite subject this semester, that is simulations, this is because it is the subject that taught me all the skills and competencies needed to serve patients next year. This year I had three teachers who have guided me during my activities, they are: Josefa Retamal who is of Endodontics, she is with me on Mondays in the morning, also I have my teacher Paulina Marin, she is of the area of Biomaterials and is with me on Tuesdays in the morning; by last, I have my teacher Sylvia Osorio, she is of the operative area, anatomy and radiography, she is with me every Wednesday morning. They are very good teachers and each had a different way to teach, and I feel that they taught me very well.

This year I could learn many work areas, from example, in the area of materials, such as making impression cuvettes, we also saw in the operative area where we restorations and inlays and provisional for these inlays, periodontics where we made cleaning and root scaling, fixed prosthesis where we did tooth stumps for provisional crowns, and endodontics, where we carry out the various stages for the restoration of the tooth, as channel opening, preparation chemimechanical and sealing.

Indeed with all these skills and knowledge acquired in this year I feel much better able to attend patients as I thought at the beginning of the year,
but I feel it is not enough, I still have many things to learn to give good care to patients, as they deserve, so I hope that next year excite other subjects to help me fill those gaps that remain me.

  

we must take care of the environment!

Hi everybody!!
In this week I want to talk to you about the environment and the care of this. Today it has become increasingly more constructions of buildings and cities are increasingly expanding by terrtorios with this brings a number of contamination, such as noise pollution by the noise of cars, works of construction of buildings and people; Also this pollution itself, which by the combustion of gasoline in vehicles, wood burning, bad attitudes of people, throw trash anywhere, deforestation, neglect of chemical waste, oil spills, the greenhouse effect , among other things. Although the growth of cities can be seen as something bad, it is neglect of people and little management information on the care to be taken with the atmosphere that generates these environmental ills. The good news is that today are added measures to improve the state of the environment, will soon rise, but are increasing. If, as the years pass is achieved change this situation by all of us, it may be achieved reverse this bad situation and not go to worse and can not be changed, we are still on time.

Dentist

Hello everybody!
In this week I want to talk to you about the job I want to do in the future. Now in December, I want job as a promoter of toys for Christmas. But in the future I want job as a dentist (for something I'm studying that career xD). I like this race because I find that one of the best ways to help people is in his health, because if one is sick can not perform well other activity, so I feel that this work will help people a lot.

I would like to specialize in orthodontics, endodontics or implantology, since I find very fascinating these areas. Orthodontics  helps people to recover their bite or to have a correct bite. Endodontics serves to calm the severe toothache, allowing restore proper function to the tooth. Finally, implantology helps people restore their missing teeth, placing new artificial teeth in the mouth, improving both aesthetics as function.

I would like to make several trips around the world, participating in many conferences on topics that interest me in dentistry, in order to learn more and improve my technical work, it is also important to be aware of the latest advances in science to provide better service (and which I could also take advantage of knowing new places and also enjoy some holidays xD)

In order to do all this, I need first of all to finish the race,I lack 4 years still, sometimes becomes very complicated, but always I give my best to get ahead and to finish my degree, I hope to do well in these years in the university, and in my job, I hope I can help many people.

1. What do you think about compulsive spenders?

I think that compulsive buyers must have some behavioral and psychological problem, since often buy things that they do not need and do not even get to use, it's just the fact of wanting to spend the money just for the sake of spending, with nothing more than background although. I do not think it's bigger problem if you have the money to do it, but if you dont have enough money to do it, because you have to pay bills or buy goods needed for the house, you can not afford to spend per spend, in this case it would be a problem, not only to the individual but his entire family.

2. What's the most common problem a Dentists face along their career?

The problems which most dentists have to live are:

-              Angry patients

-              Back problems

-              lack of patients during their training

-              the high costs of their dental materials

Summer

Hi Everybody!

In this week, I want to talk to you about my plans for this summer, I want do a lots of things xD

In december I want to work as promoter of toys, for Christmas season, because I need the money to buy a new computer, since my computer is old and more or less damaged. The last year I worked in the same place, is a good work and also the pay is good.

In January I have planned to go the beach with my girlfriend, idealy for several days or else for the day only, if we dont have enough money, but the important thing is to go. The last year, we went to the beach for the day only, we went to Pichilemu to be more specific, and this year we would like go to Pichilemu again, because is a good beach and the food is delicious.

In February, the most likely is that I go to the countryside with my family, to Colbun or Puren to be more specific, since I have family there, in Colbun I have relative by my mother and in Puren i have relative by my father, I think that I will go for a week at each location, and I will talk with my girlfriend to accompany me and she can meet these sites.

Finally, in March, I hope to go to the concert of Mana with my girlfriend, which will be March 11. My girlfriend loves Maná, and go to the concert would be a dream come true for her, and I want to fulfill that dream for her.

PET (Preliminary English Test) Practice >> Session 1 (week 10)

1. Which of the three skills is more challenging for you?

Of the three activities we did in this work today, the which I find more difficult is the "Listening", after the "reading" and finally the easiest would be the "Vocabulary"

2. What task was the most difficult for you? Why?

I find the more difficult the "Listening" for having to listen to what a person says is more complicated than reading something, because you can read the text according to your time of understanding and will always be a simple way to read. However, listening to someone is more complicated because it depends on how fast you speak, the voice volume terms you use and modulates, and if any of these points is difficult to understand is more difficult.

3. What was the easiest? Why?

I find the easiest exercise was "vocabulary" for giving us a prayer that we just have to add a word, it is easy to deduce, because understand what the sentence means and context is used, it can be seen that word use and which not, in addition to also discard the other options can be inferred, because if I know some options, which can be used or not, and so to give the right answer.

Hi everybody!
In this week I want to talk to you about my favorite food, the cues are all related to the masses, such as pasta and lasagna. Because although I like pasta can be something simple, with sauce one can give that special touch, and you can do all kinds sauce like tomato sauce, pesto sauce, alfredo sauce, among others, as well as can be with meat, ham, chicken, shrimp, lots of vegetables, mushrooms, finally, many ingredients xD.

The lasagna is one of my favorites because the dough sheets together with Afredo ketchup and sauce (which is based cream), has meat and mushrooms. Your elvaroración is very complex because it is formed layer by layer, and between each layer has to be changing each ingredient, in addition to the cooking time in the oven is 30 min to 1 hour depending on the power.

The meal of masses is of Italian origin, and also pasta and lasagna, pizza also is of Italian origin, which is based on a round mass, which adds a layer of ketchup and cheese, and it can add many ingredients, like different types of meat, chicken, ham, salami, chorizo; various vegetables such as asparagus, corn, tomatoes, palm hearts, onion, olives; some fruits like pineapple. In addition you can add extra cheese.

The homemade pastas are that I like my grandmother's cooking. Every Sunday my family gets together at my grandmother's house, and cook different dishes every Sunday, but the days that I like are when it's pasta because the sauce has a special touch that makes it very delicious and also placed a piece meat instead of ground beef. It is very delicious

PET Practice

1. In the exercises I usually had good results, I believe that the activities are a good way to teach English, but would also be ideal to be more didactic and better feedback, or doing other activities, in addition to these.

2. Of the 10 places that were on the website, I would go to the Galapagos Islands because it is a place that has a special fauna and the atmosphere is very cheerful and tropical, is a ideal place to spend a romantic time with that special person.

3. I find that knowing English is very important not only for work but for everyday life, but referred to my work, it would be easy to treat the people submitting any discomfort or any urgency to any foreign visitor who comes to the country, or if I go to other countries to conventions, for I could understand, learn and give opinions, and also to interact with other dentists from other countries who do not speak Spanish.

I had a Dog... u.u

In this week, I will talk to you about my pet, well, now I have no pet, but a few years ago I had. It's name was "Manchas". it was a dog, my parents gave me when I was 4 years old. it was quiltro, mix of Siberian and German shepherd. i played with it every day when I was a kid, and the nights of rain with thunder and lightning, my dog was very scared and it slept into my house. it was very hyperactive and playful, and it hunted pigeons xD

When my parents separated, my father stayed with it, and I stayed with my mother, so that only I could see the alternate weekend.

In the 2006, my father moved from home to the commune of "La florida", and the next year my dog left the house and was lost in a day with heavy rain and thunders and lightning in the night, i was very sad when my father told me about it. Six months passed and my dog returned to the house, and i was very happy again.

In the 2010, my father moved from house again, now to the commune of "Puente Alto" and the first day they were there, my father tied to a pole my dog because there were a lots of cats and my dog barked a lot and was very restless, but my father got bored and released it, and my dog ran away chasing cats and it was lost again, and we never saw it again.

Since this moment, I have not pets. But, in the future, I would like have a Siberian dog, because they are very similar in appearance to wolfs, and they are very loving, cute and playful, and the dogs are my favorite pets, and my second favorite pets are hedgehog, but they are very calm :P.

The Football

Hi Everybody!!
In this week, i will talk to you about my favorite sport, that is football. The most popular sport in the world. This sport consist in  two teams, formed by eleven people each one, carry the ball, with feet or with any part of the body that aren't arms or hands, and insert it into the opponent's arc, this action is called ¡¡¡¡GOOOL!!!!
Each game last ninety minutes, and these ninety minutes are divided in forty five minutes for side, between this minutes there are fifteen minutes to rest, where addition to rest, the coach decides the changes of players and alignments for the second time. the place where is it play is called "Stadium" and counts on a field of grass with 90-120 meters long and 45-90 meters wide.
The football player can be goalie (he protects to arc), defender (in front to goalie, they help goalie to protect the arc), midfielder (in the middle of the pitch, they are responsible of rig up the game) or striker (they are responsible to make goals).
The most major competitions in the world are: "The FIFA world cup" (to countries) and "The Champions League" (to teams of europe) and "Copa Libertadores" (to teams of South America and Mexico)
The team the most winner in the FIFA world cup is Brazil, with five titles won (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994, 2002)
The team the most winner in the Champions League is Real Madrid (of Spain), with ten titles won (1955-1956, 1956-1957, 1957-1958, 1958-1959, 1959-1960, 1965-1966, 1997-1998, 1999-2000, 2001-2002, 2013-2014)

Camboriu Camboriu

Hello Again!

In this week I will talk to you about one of my best holidays, which was my travel to Brazil with my classmate of my School "Jose Victorino Lastarria" in the 2012, of study tour. We went for one week a Camboriu and Florianopolis. when we arrived, around to 12:00 PM of Brazil time, the weather was so hot and wet (tropical weather), we soaked up in sweat the t-shirts XD. the travel on bus from the airport to the Hotel lasted 30 minutes. The hotel wasn't bad, but either was good. but, we did not care, because we spent the whole time on the beach, the water was excellent temperature all day and night, at 4:00 AM we were still in the sea xD. The people of this country is a very happy people and lit, always is time to party in the beach for them.

We went to aquatic park, it had a lot of slides and pools. We did a lot activities in group of alliance, versus other alliances of other schools, some of Chile and other from other countries. Also, we traveled in a boat with a form similar to a pirate ship, it took us to a small island. very pretty and with a great view of the beach of Camboriu. Also we went to the "Cristo Luz" and a Brazilian club.

The food is very delicious and very varied, they serve lots of food in the dish, here sale food for kilograms, with a scales weigh the dishes of foods.

When it came time to go, we did not want, but we knew that was time to go, we had a good time and with my friends, we promised back to travel together, either Brazil or other country

Le pays de l'amour

Hi Everybody!!!

In this week i will start talk to you about a country i would like to visit, it is Francia, "le pays de l'amour", because i think that this country is a fantastic place full of different historical buildings and monuments, for example "the tower Eiffel" which was built in 1887. Also this "The Arch of Triumph", which was sent to build by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1806, this monument is very important for Paris, because it arises in one of the most tense and conflict in that country and perhaps one of the world's biggest moments, the French Revolution, in its pillars they find four statues: "Le Triomphe (The triumph), La Résistance (The resistance), La Paix (The peace) and La Marseillaise, each of these statues represent a one important event that occurred in that period.

Also i would like go to the museum of Louvre, where the greatest works of art in the world, for example "The Gioconda", or more popularly called "The Mona Lisa"
The other place i would like visit is "the garden Eliseos", wich is near of the arch of triumph, it is very big and beautiful.

Sometimes I think I want to live in this country, because here in Chile is getting worse the situation in general, but here I have my family and friends, and I would not like to live alone in another place, so i would go visit to France only.
